Account Structure Guide
Account Types:
  • Asset: Resources owned (Cash, Inventory, Equipment)
  • Liability: Obligations owed (Loans, Payables)
  • Equity: Owner's stake (Capital, Retained Earnings)
  • Revenue: Income from operations (Sales, Services)
  • Expense: Operating costs (Salaries, Rent, Utilities)
  • COGS: Direct product costs (Materials, Labor)
Code Format:
  • 1 - Assets
  • 2 - Liabilities
  • 3 - Equity
  • 4 - Revenue
  • 5 - COGS
  • 6 - Expenses
Example Structure:
1 - Assets (parent)
1.001 - Cash on Hand
1.002 - Bank BCA
1.100 - Inventory (parent)
1.101 - Raw Materials
1.102 - Finished Goods
Important Notes:
  • Account codes must be unique
  • Parent account type will cascade to children
  • Closed accounts cannot be used in new transactions
  • Accounts with transactions cannot be deleted
